The 2026 NYSE Market Microstructure Conference

Author: Steven W. Poser, Director of Research, NYSE & Sophia Lichoulas, Senior Data Scientist

Following the positive feedback from our November 2024 “NYSE Microstructure Meets AI Conference”, NYSE is pleased to announce it will host our second conference on February 9, 2026 at our historic headquarters at 11 Wall Street.

NYSE seeks academic papers covering the real-world application of market microstructure.

The NYSE advocates for academia and industry working together to help promote understanding and discourse on the state of the U.S. Equity and related markets. The conference will follow a standard academic conference format. Authors will present their research, followed by a discussant, who will provide a thoughtful analysis of the research. Discussants will be chosen from industry, rather than academia, to further promote industry/academic dialog. Questions from the audience will be encouraged following the presentation of each paper.

To submit a paper or to be considered as a discussant, please email here.

Registration and Paper Submission information here.
